"My husband was a resident in the special unit of Cedar Court Dementia Care Home in Bretby View from August 2015 until he died in January 2018. I and our son and daughter cannot thank them enough. Their care and understanding of my husband's illness, Alzheimer's was outstanding. The fact that he could not speak made his life very difficult but the staff were wonderful and learnt to understand and anticipate his moods and needs through his facial expressions and the noises that he was able to make. They talked to him, danced with him and included him in conversation. They treated him as an individual, with honest kindness and respect.”
